Germany's most sustainable university building in WDR
The new building for the University of Witten/Herdecke, which ZÜBLIN Timber and the architecture firm Kaden+Lager are to build on campus next year, sets new standards for modern and contemporary building with wood. In keeping with the university's philosophy, it is to become the most sustainable university building in Germany and offers many different options and flexible adaptations to meet future requirements.

Wood Award 2019 for Project House in a Garden
ZÜBLIN Timber is delighted that the ‘House in a Garden’ project has won the ‘Structural Award’ at the Wood Awards 2019. Huge credit to Gianni Botsford architects, Built Engineers and NewWave London Contractors for the determination, patience and exceptional hard work over the past years that has produced a building that we can be very proud of.
The scope of work covered by ZÜBLIN Timber included the design, manufacturing and installation of the timber roof structure including the complex and double curved GluLam beams.
